Take & Make Crafts!

While we are still unable to offer Story Time, we want you to have a piece of Story Time to take home!

Take & Make craft bags have everything you need to make a Story Time craft with your child. We will have a new craft available each week! Pick up a bag in library (our temporary hours are Monday-Friday 10:00 am-3:00 pm) or have one brought to you during our designated curbside hours (Monday-Thursday 3:00 pm-5:00 pm).

We are hopeful that programs like Story Time can resume in the fall. Please follow us on social media for the most up-to-date news and announcements.

Summer Reading Program for Children

We are going ahead with the 2021 Summer Reading Program! This year’s theme is Tails & Tales. Registration for all ages is open now! You may register in-library or online. Check out our online guide for everything you need to know about this year’s program!

1,000 Books before Kindergarten

1,000 Books before Kindergarten is an early literacy program that gives children a head start by already having 1,000 books under their belt when they start kindergarten! This program rewards early readers with small prizes along the way. See our children’s librarian to sign up and start logging the books you read with your child today!

Already participating in 1,000 Books? Check out the new app!

Now it’s easier than ever to log the books you read with your child! Instead of keeping track of paper log sheets, you can document your progress in the app and just show it to the children’s librarian! Get more info here.
