What is Outreach?

Outreach Services is a free service to patrons of all ages who cannot get to the library building. The elderly, residents of a facility, the homebound and people with disabilities living in the Mount Pleasant Township taxing district, are eligible for this service. Even if your situation is temporary, we encourage you to request this service! We want the library to be available to all.

How Can I Start Using This Service?

To initiate services, call the library at (765) 759-9723.

Once eligibility has been established, the Outreach Librarian, Beth Rahn, will reach out to determine your needs. She will deliver and pick up your materials on a monthly basis. Beth can modify the schedule as needed.

Materials available include regular and large print books, magazines, music CDs, movies on DVD, and books on CD. In addition, CD players and headphones are also available to borrow.

How Long Can I Keep Materials Checked Out?

You may keep library materials for 28 days. Please ensure that your materials are available for Beth to pick up at scheduled visits. Patrons using Outreach services will be responsible for replacing or paying for lost or damaged materials.
