Adults

Any Book Book Club

Do you find yourself finishing a book and then just dying to talk to someone about it? Any Book Book Club is for you!

Read any book (or books) you’d like to each month, and come tell us about them! This new program for adults is show and tell, all grown up. Share your monthly selections with others and discover new books and authors!

We meet on the last Wednesday of each month from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.

We also have a book club for teens!

Computer Help

If you need basic computer help, stop by the library!

We’re here to help you with email, printing, web browsing, and so much more.

Friends of the Library

If you love the library, consider joining the Friends of the Library! Membership is free!

You’ll get to be a part of our popular annual book sale and selection of our annual FOL Scholarship recipient, plus get nice perks like a book sale discount!

Download and fill out the registration form for membership, and bring it to the circulation desk to get started!

Genealogy @ the Library

Discover your unique family history and build your family tree for free with ancestry.com Library Edition.

Our volunteer instructor, Kurt, will show you how to use ancestry.com and help you discover your family history records.

Genealogy @ the Library is currently on hiatus until Spring 2024.

Bad Art Night

Do your worst at Bad Art Night, a new program for adults!

We’ll supply the art supplies, and you create the art. Even if it’s bad. Especially if it’s bad.

Meets one Wednesday per month.

Crafternoon

Join us for guided craft making and socialize with other crafters in the community! We’ll have a new craft for you each month.

Meets the third Saturday of each month.

Special & Limited Time Programming

Mini Art Show

This fun program is for all ages.

Here’s how it works 🎨:

  • Pick up your mini canvas from the library and create your mini masterpiece. These canvases are teeny (2in x 2in), so get creative!
  • Art will be sorted by age group and put on display at the library.
  • You’ll be able to vote for your favorite in each age group (adult, teen, K-5th grade, and 5 years old and younger).
  • Winners will receive a small prize!

Our first Mini Art Show in April 2023 was a huge success! Be sure to follow us on social media, where we’ll announce the next one.

Seed Library

Build your garden with seeds from the library! Take up to 10 packets per season. Current season runs April 22-end of August.

We are currently accepting donations of both opened and unopened packets of seeds for this program!

Blind Date with a Book

In this exciting February program, we gather a diverse collection of books from our shelves and wrap them in plain brown paper. Check one out and discover an author you’ve never tried, or a book you never thought you’d read. Who knows? Maybe you’ll fall in love!

Books in this program are selected for adult reading ages.

Fishing for a Good Book

Just like Blind Date with a Book, Fishing for a Good Book is a fun, mysterious reading program, but for our younger crowd! Grab a book wrapped in plain brown paper from the display in the Children’s Department and discover something brand new! You may even get hooked!

Books in this program are selected for 3rd-5th graders.

Families

Fiber Arts Club

Join a group of people who love knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving, felting, or other yarn-related crafts, no matter the level of proficiency or the age.

Bring your own project, socialize, and get help if you need it. This is not a class, but help is provided if you are new to the craft.

View all meetings.

Summer Reading Program

We have a Summer Reading program for every age group! Toddlers, kids, teens, and adults can all participate in this fun summer program in which you read to win prizes. There are weekly prizes as well as a grand prize for each age group at the end of the program.

During the Summer Reading Program, we also offer free family entertainment each Wednesday afternoon. Our performers have included magicians, singers, wildlife experts, and many more!

Holiday Programming

We love celebrating the holidays with our patrons! We offer all day trick-or-treating on Halloween, Santa visits us at Christmastime, we ring in the New Year with Noon Year’s Eve, and more!

Check the calendar to see any upcoming special holiday programming!

Each week, we have three story time offerings full of fun stories, crafts, games, music, and bubbles!
