Adult Cooking Classes
This monthly cooking class for adults is held in our Program Room. Each month will have a different theme, so we’ll be able to offer a little something for everyone!
Class size is limited to 9, and registration will be required each month. Follow our Facebook page for open registration announcements at the beginning of each month!
Walking Club
Looking to get a little exercise while socializing? Meet us for Walking Club every Tuesday & Thursday (weather permitting) at 11:00 am at Morrow’s Meadow for a walk around the track!
Begins March 5 and runs through October.

If you need basic computer help, stop by the library!
We’re here to help you with email, printing, web browsing, and so much more.

Our volunteer instructor, Kurt, will show you how to use ancestry.com and help you discover your family history records.

Crafternoon
Join us for guided craft making and socialize with other crafters in the community! We’ll have a new craft for you each month.

Literary March Madness
Your favorite literary characters are going head-to-head in this fun March program!
Here’s how it works:
- Fill out a bracket with your predictions
- Vote online each week to keep your favorites in the game! We’ll share the voting link below and on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and Twitter.
- Round One: March 4 -8 |
- Round Two: March 11-15 | VOTE NOW!
- Round Three: March 18-22
- Round Four: March 25-29
- Final Round: April 1-5
- Champion Announced: April 8
Mini Art Show
The Mini Art Show is back this year!
Here’s how it works:
- Pick up a mini canvas from the library beginning March 11 and return your mini masterpiece the week of April 1
- We’ll display your artwork during the month of April
- Vote on Facebook for your favorite pieces in each age category (5 & Under, K-5th Grade, Teens, & Adults)
- The winner of each category will receive a mini prize!
We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Eclipse Events
Saturday, April 6 : Talk with Dr. Dain Kavars
Join us for a talk and a hands-on activity with Dr. Dain Kavars, teacher of the Solar System Astronomy and Galactic Astronomy classes at the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities!
Monday, April 8: Eclipse Viewing Party
Join us for the big event at our eclipse viewing party at Morrow’s Meadow! We’ll have crafts, snacks, and eclipse viewing glasses for those in attendance.
Seed Library
March – August
Build your garden with seeds from the library! Take up to 10 packets per season.
We are currently accepting donations of both opened and unopened packets of seeds for this program!
Blind Date with a Book
In this exciting February program, we gather a diverse collection of books from our shelves and wrap them in plain brown paper. Check one out and discover an author you’ve never tried, or a book you never thought you’d read. Who knows? Maybe you’ll fall in love!
Books in this program are selected for adult reading ages.
Fishing for a Good Book
Just like Blind Date with a Book, Fishing for a Good Book is a fun February reading program, but for our younger crowd! Grab a book wrapped in plain brown paper from the display in the Children’s Department, and discover something brand new. You may just get hooked!
Books in this program are selected for 3rd-5th graders.
Families
Fiber Arts Club
Join a group of people who love knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving, felting, or other yarn-related crafts, no matter the level of proficiency or the age.
Bring your own project, socialize, and get help if you need it. This is not a class, but help is provided if you are new to the craft.
Summer Reading Program
We have a Summer Reading program for every age group! Toddlers, kids, teens, and adults can all participate in this fun summer program in which you read to win prizes. There are weekly prizes as well as a grand prize for each age group at the end of the program.
During the Summer Reading Program, we also offer free family entertainment each Wednesday afternoon. Our performers have included magicians, singers, wildlife experts, and many more!
Holiday Programming
We love celebrating the holidays with our patrons! We offer all day trick-or-treating on Halloween, Santa visits us at Christmastime, we ring in the New Year with Noon Year’s Eve, and more!

Story Time
Each week, we have three story time offerings full of fun stories, crafts, games, music, and bubbles!
Baby Lapsit is designed for babies under one year, and is held on Tuesdays at 12:00 pm.
Tiny Tots is designed for toddlers, and is held on Wednesdays at 10:30 am.
Bookworms is designed for pre-K children, and is held on Thursdays at 11:00 am.
