Friends of the Library

What is the Friends of the Library?

The Friends of the Library is a group that helps the library raise funds. Funds are raised in a variety of ways. In the past, the group has sold merchandise–such as book bags–to help raise money for the library. But the biggest way that FOL supports and raises money for the library is through the annual Friends of the Library book sale!

People from all over Indiana travel to the book sale each year. The FOL organizes and runs this sale. If you become a member and volunteer for two hours at the sale, you’ll get 50% off the already low prices! This is a great event for the entire community and a wonderful way to meet new people.

In addition to the book sale, the FOL also sponsors a scholarship each year to one high school senior living in the taxing district.
